YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR, September 4, 2012
    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

*Shipped folded in half (which damaged the product)
*Real shipping is $0.65 (You won’t get $3.94 back if you return)
    *Poor quality product
    *Useless mousepad

I use to own Moshi ClearGuard MB US Layout (99MO021901) and can never go back to silicone. After I misplaced it (since it’s so thin), I decided to go for cheaper alternatives without spending another $25. My wife got one for $8 for her Macbook Air 13 at work and that looked great. I thought maybe I can get away with something even cheaper but apparently I went too far. You get what you paid for.

As soon as I saw the packaging in my mail box I had a bad feeling: The mailing envelope is shorter than the keyboard cover. Upon opening the package, the keyboard cover was bent when placed inside of the envelope with no padding whatsoever. I found bend mark along “8” “I” “K” “M” keys and those keys does not seem to fit well. If any of you who have seen the Moshi packaging, you know that they keep the fragile TPU keyboard cover flat and protected well so it can retain it’s shape. If you receive this undamaged, consider yourself lucky. I am surprised to see this seller treating this product as if it was made of silicone.

The keyboard itself fits to the keys just fine, but it looks very cloudy compare to Moshi, making the black keys grayish. Most importantly, it is too soft so whenever I increase typing speed, it lost the grip on the other keys and started to move around. I have to constantly adjust my fingers to make sure my finger don’t slide when typing on each key. I am not happy with it and decided not to use it the next day. For the fact that it is a TPU keyboard cover for the price, I give it 2 stars. It seems not all TPU keyboard covers are made equal.

It came with a mouse pad that is pretty much useless. It is only half the size of letter size paper and fits only 2X of the size of my Logitech MX mouse. It is light weight and slippery too. Oh well, it’s free, what do you expect.

The postage is actually $0.65 instead of $3.99 they charged, for those who wants to know.

doesn’t protect from liquids you might spill. still protects from crumbs.
Weird feeling when typing. You’re better off paying a few bucks more for a better product.
