    This iHome Rechargeable Speaker Case for ipod nano product has successfully met my fast lifestyle keepers list. I have even been buying this as a present for my friends. It not only charges and plays the nano but also keeps the Nano from being lost. It makes it possible to snap the clip onto clothing and hear the nano play. The sound quality is good and the nano is easy to retrieve from the zipper or press the nano screen from the outside with the clear case window. I tried a lot of ways to play my nano and still not loose it. It became frustrating because earbuds always got in the way. The nano doesn’t have bluetooth, and it always ran out of battery. Adding a small speaker was not working either because the speaker didn’t have a clip to hang on my clothes and I’d have to worry about loosing both the nano and the speaker. Now I can use my ipod Nano without a problem because of this iHome Rechargeable Speaker Case for ipod nano product.iHome Rechargeable Speaker Case for iPod nano 6G and iPod shuffle

    I had high hopes for this speaker case for my new Ipod nano 6G. Earbuds are irritating and slip out too easily and a portable speaker is too much to carry in tandem with an ipod if you are working out or doing work. Unfortunately, there are serious design flaws with this speaker case. First, the speaker is located and directed toward the outside of the case, but without any speaker opening of any kind. It just sorta buzzes the faux leather case. Everything is muffled and barely audible. Even after a fresh charge, it is not loud enough to used in public or anywhere there may be ambient noise, but may be useful at home if everything is quiet. I am keeping it because it is a cool place to keep my nano and have as a speaker backup, but be warned of it’s limitations.

    The speaker works great. The problem is how the iPod fits into the case. That’s not very good. You zip the iPod up in the case, rendering the buttons useless. And the cutout for the iPod doesn’t hold it in very well. The speaker connector is too long so you have to stuff it into the case to close it.
